Online retail and streaming giant Amazon is continuing to expand its presence within the National Football League, securing rights to stream one of the league's two newly formed Wild Card playoff games, according to industry sources and multiple reports.
The new deal, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, will see Amazon stream a Wild Card game in January 2021 that will be broadcast on television by CBS, and is part of the league’s newly expanded 14-team playoff format.
