The World Surf League has secured a second season of its Apple TV+ docuseries Make or Break, which will make its debut on the global streaming service on April 29.

The seven-part series, which has been produced by Box to Box Films, "follows the 2021 competition, navigating as the league responds to the global pandemic, while exploring the dynamic surfing culture along with timely issues, including diversity, mental health, and the physical impact of the sport."

Among the surfers featured are Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Gabriel Medina, Tyler Wright, Italo Ferreira, and Tatiana Weston-Webb.

The move comes amid ABC cancelling the reality-based competition show The Ultimate Surfer after just one season.
