Golf’s Asian Tour has signed an exclusive 10-year partnership with US pay-television broadcaster the Golf Channel.
Under the agreement, which runs until the end of 2024, the Golf Channel will hold exclusive television and digital rights for the Asian Tour in North America.
The Tour’s events will also be shown on Golf Live Extra – the channel’s authenticated streaming service – while the Golf Channel’s news programming and its official website will carry highlights.
Kyi Hla Han, chairman of the Asian Tour, said: “We are extremely delighted to extend our partnership with Golf Channel for the next 10 years, which means the Asian Tour will continue to be shown to nearly 90 million homes in North America.”
The agreement was brokered by Asian Tour Media, a joint venture company between the Asian Tour and the IMG agency.
