LaLiga TV, the official television channel of the top division of Spanish football, has secured wide exposure in the Asia Pacific region through a partnership with satellite operator AsiaSat.
Under the deal agreed between AsiaSat and the Mediapro agency, LaLiga’s official production partner, LaLiga TV will be added to the sports channel line-up offered by AsiaSat 5.
The agreement, terms of which were undisclosed, marks the first time LaLiga TV launches as a 24-hour distributed channel in Asia Pacific. Commentaries for the channel will be available in English.
LaLiga will also produce its first English-language live studio show, analysing the forthcoming round of fixtures.
