American Sports Network (ASN), the college sports platform operated by US television broadcasting company Sinclair Networks Group, has agreed a sublicensing deal with US sports broadcaster ESPN for rights to men’s basketball games from the American Athletic Conference.
Although the length of the agreement was undisclosed, it was confirmed that the deal will commence with the 2015-16 academic year.
ASN will broadcast live coverage of up to 10 games per year on Sinclair stations and other syndicated platforms.
All ASN games will also be streamed live by ESPN via its ESPN3 and WatchESPN online streaming services.
