AVG agrees further sub-licensing deals for V-League

AVG last week sold V-League rights to local television stations in deals worth VND40 million ($2,000/€1,500) each. It is still in talks with Vietnam Multi-Media Corporation and Ho Chi Minh City Television.

AVG acquired the league’s rights in December from the Vietnam football federation in a deal worth VND6 billion per year. The broadcaster plans to launch its own 70-channel television platform later this year but does not presently have a broadcast outlet for the league, which kicks off on January 23.
