The Badminton Europe governing body is looking to recruit a company to sell its international media rights for four years, from 2013 to 2016.
Badminton Europe, which has sold its own rights until now, said that it wanted to sign up a third party “to ensure better exposure and sustainability.”
The agency would sell rights for the organisation’s European Championships in 2014 and 2016, European Mixed Team Championships in 2013 and 2015, European men’s and women’s team championships in 2014 and 2016 and the annual European Club Championships. Other junior and senior events can also be included in the package, if requested.
Proposals must be submitted by October 26 and Badminton Europe will announce the winning submission on November 16, with the contract expected to be finalised on December 1.
