UK public-service broadcaster the BBC has signed an extension to its rights deal with the Rugby Football League, the governing body of rugby league in England, to continue broadcasting the Challenge Cup club knockout competition.
The deal will run for four years, from 2017 until 2020.
The BBC will broadcast live coverage of matches in the sixth round, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final.
The deal also includes highlights from the RFL’s Super League club competition.
