BBC Wales ‘agrees 5-year deal’ for Welsh women’s national team

BBC Cymru Wales, the Welsh arm of British public service broadcaster the BBC, has agreed a deal with the Football Association of Wales to broadcast Wales’ national women’s team qualifying fixtures for the next five years.

The agreement, first reported by the BBC, includes the remaining qualifying games for the Fifa World Cup finals, hosted by Australia and New Zealand in 2023, the next qualifying campaign for the Uefa European Championships and the qualifying campaign for the 2027 World Cup.
