BT Sport acquires rights to Liverpool’s pre-season campaign

UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport has acquired rights to English Premier League football club Liverpool’s pre-season friendlies.

The deal commenced with the club’s match against Danish Superliga side Brondby, which took place on Wednesday.

Further scheduled live coverage on BT Sport includes Liverpool’s game at English League One third-tier side Preston North End tomorrow (Saturday).

In addition, BT Sport will broadcast live coverage of the club’s friendly match with Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma on July 23. The game will take place at Fenway Park, home of Major League Baseball franchise the Boston Red Sox.

BT Sport will also broadcast live Liverpool’s match against German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on August 10. The game will take place at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium.
