UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport has acquired rights to matches involving England’s various football development teams.
The four-year deal will begin immediately and run until the end of the 2017-18 season.
BT Sport will broadcast live coverage of all England U-21 home competitive and friendly matches. Coverage will begin with this Friday’s 2015 Uefa European Championship qualification play-off semi-final against Croatia.
BT Sport will also broadcast one England U-17 and one England U-19 game per season during the deal.
BT Sport struck the deal with the Football Association, the sport’s governing body in England.
