Swedish pay-television broadcaster C More has bolstered its coverage of domestic ice hockey by extending a rights deal with the HockeyAllsvenskan.
The fresh agreement with the second-tier league will run through to the end of its 2020-21 season. In May 2015, C More agreed a four-season deal that was due to run from 2015-16 to 2018-19.
C More will cover all regular season and playoff games with the deal representing the longest in the history of the HockeyAllsvenskan.
Earlier this week, C More extended its rights for the Swedish Hockey League, the top division of ice hockey in the country. The exclusive deal will run for six seasons, from 2018-19 to 2023-24.
That contract was also the longest in the history of the SHL. C More's current deal runs for four seasons, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
