French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has acquired rights to the international matches of a number of European national teams, including Portugal, Croatia and the Czech Republic, for the next two seasons, from 2012-13 to 2013-14.
The matches, which include friendly games as well as qualifying matches for the 2014 Fifa World Cup, will be shown on Canal Plus’s Foot Plus pay-television football service over 22 dates.
The Foot Plus service is available for a monthly subscription of €5 ($6), while individual matches can be bought for €10 ($12), or €12 ($15) for a day pass.
