The rights are understood to have been sold for a small amount to allow the broadcaster to trial a sport which is not particularly popular in Israel.
TSA said that a one-year deal suited both parties as emerging Israeli talent such as Daniel Poleshchuk could help push up rights fees next year when the contract is up for renewal.
