The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) and Globo have reached an agreement over their legal dispute concerning the media group’s termination of its rights deal for the Copa Libertadores club competition, freeing it up to enter talks for the next contract from 2023 onwards.
In a statement, Conmebol said: “Conmebol and Globo reached an agreement and decided to terminate the ongoing arbitration in Switzerland due to the termination of the Copa Libertadores rights contract from 2019 to 2022.
