Croatian IPTV platform Iskon.tv has struck a new carriage deal with Arena Sport after electing to drop fellow pay-television broadcaster Sportklub.
Arena Sport’s channels are now available to Iskon.tv customers, with Sportklub set to be removed from the schedules on February 11. Iskon.tv said it had decided to cease carriage of the latter due to a “new, much higher price” demanded by the broadcaster.
Subscribers of Iskon.tv’s basic channel plan will be able to view Arena Sport 1 and 2, while all six channels will be available through an extended sports package.
Arena Sport offers content such as the Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, the top tier of Croatian club football, along with Italy’s Serie A and France’s Ligue 1. Arena Sport also holds rights to the Formula 1 motor-racing championship and the NBA.
