Kay Dammholz, managing director of rights and distribution for the DACH markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland has opted to leave his position at DAZN, the OTT service operated by digital sport media company Perform.
Dammholz will leave the company on August 31 in order to pursue new opportunities.
He took up the role in July 2016 after leaving DFL Sports Enterprises, the commercial arm of the German Football League (DFL).
Dammholz’s departure comes after DAZN last month hired Thomas de Buhr to lead the business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
De Buhr, the former managing director of social media platform Twitter in Germany, joined DAZN as executive vice-president of revenue in a newly created role.
