DAZN, the OTT sports subscription service operated by digital media company Perform, has appointed Peter Parmenter to the new position of managing director of commercial partnerships.
DAZN said Parmenter (pictured) will work with the service’s marketing and commercial teams, along with Perform’s Goal Studio agency, to develop a centre of excellence and global partnership focus for the platform.
Parmenter will work with local teams in DAZN’s markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Canada to develop in-market strategies. His role will sit within DAZN’s marketing team, which is led by chief marketing officer Ashley Wirasinha.
Parmenter previously worked for video game developer EA and has also held positons at Hutchison Telecom and EMI Records, as well as serving as a non-executive director for Perform Group.
