DeporTV, the sports channel operated by the Argentinian government, will launch on the country’s cable-television platforms next week.
The channel launched in 2013 on DTT-based and free-to-air television and online platforms.
“We are very happy because the channel has grown a lot and has achieved high quality standards,” Tristán Bauer, who is responsible for Argentina's television and radio output, said. “From now on the channel will also reinforce its programming.”
The channel, which broadcasts domestic and international football and basketball, will launch on the cable-television operators on Wednesday.
