DFL Digital Sports, the media production subsidiary of the German Football League (DFL), has appointed Andreas Heyden as its new chief executive.
Heyden will replace Josef Nehl, who has held the position on a temporary basis since the departure of Tom Bedner. Heyden will assume the role on a full-time basis from June 15.
In his new role, Heyden will oversee the production and delivery of the DFL’s national and international media content.
Heyden will join DFL Digital Sports following a spell with German media company ProSiebenSat.1.
