Digiturk snaps up Euroleague rights

Turkish pay-television operator Digiturk has acquired rights for the Euroleague Basketball club competition.

Digiturk has secured the rights in a deal with Euroleague Basketball for the next five seasons, from 2014-15 to 2018-19.

Digiturk will exploit the rights on the Lig TV 2 and Lig TV 3 channels.

Under the deal, the broadcaster must also show one contest per game week, featuring a Turkish team, on a free-to-air channel.
