The Polish Ekstraklasa is preparing an invitation to tender for the sale of its domestic media rights from the 2023-24 season onwards, in a process that is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year.
The existing deals with pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus and public-service broadcaster TVP are due to expire after the 2022-23 season and worth a combined PLN250m (€54.3m/$62.8m) per season in rights fees and production costs.
