International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has partnered with digital video technology company NeuLion to launch a new digital sports service in Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Singapore and Taiwan.
The multi-year partnership commences with the launch of the new platform today (Thursday). The service will include a catch-up option, which will allow viewers to watch any Eleven Sports broadcast from the previous 24 hours.
A video-on-demand option will also be introduced, which will feature clips and short-form highlights. In addition, the new service will include the option to pause and rewind live action.
The platform will exploit Eleven Sports Network’s portfolio of sports rights, which include football’s Uefa Euro 2016 and Spanish Liga, the Formula One motor racing championship and North American basketball league the NBA.
The service has been launched ahead of Saturday’s English FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace.
