US sports broadcaster ESPN has agreed a new long-term media rights deal with the Mid-American Conference US collegiate sports competition.
The deal will run for 13 years, from 2014-15 until 2026-27, and replace an existing eight-year agreement that was due to expire in 2017.
ESPN will remain the exclusive carrier for all television and distribution rights for MAC Conference American football and men’s basketball.
The deal also includes selected women’s basketball and Olympic sports.
