The Italian arm of the Mediapro agency appears to be out of the running for rights to the Lega Basket Serie A after the league announced that sports broadcasters Eurosport and Eleven Sports were the only parties to present offers by yesterday’s (Thursday’s) deadline.
Lega Basket Serie A announced last week that Mediapro, along with Eurosport and Eleven, was in contention for its domestic rights across the next three seasons. Mediapro submitted a first-round offer but did not present a new offer by yesterday’s deadline.
