Norwegian pay-television operator RiksTV has struck a carriage deal for a portfolio of channels operated by media and entertainment company Discovery Communications, including Eurosport Norge.
The deal was agreed after “tough negotiations,” according to the Kampanje news website.
Discovery confirmed last week that Eurosport Norge, a new regional version of pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport, would launch in Norway tomorrow (Thursday).
Eurosport Norge will open with live coverage of the Uefa Euro 2016 national football team qualifier between Azerbaijan and Croatia, with Norway competing in the same group as the two teams.
