FC Dallas renews terms with local broadcast partner

Major League Soccer club FC Dallas has agreed one-year extensions to its local rights deals with cable-television operator Time Warner Cable Sports and the TXA21 channel, which is owned by the CBS network.

Under the terms of the deals, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will air 24 FC Dallas regular-season games. TXA21 will broadcast six regular-season games.

The remaining four games will be nationally televised on either UniMas, ESPN2 or NBC Sports Network.

FC Dallas opens the 2014 season at its Toyota Stadium home on March 8 against the Montreal Impact.
