Fiba to stream pre-World Cup games through NBL link-up

The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) has teamed up with Australia’s National Basketball League to live-stream coverage of World Cup warm-up games featuring Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

The games will be streamed on Fiba’s YouTube channel, as well as its official page on social media platform Facebook. The coverage will be accessible for viewers outside of Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Coverage begins today (Friday) with Australia v Canada, before the two teams meet again tomorrow. Fiba will also cover Canada’s double-header against New Zealand on August 20-21.

The games will form part of the International Basketball Series, which is being delivered by TEG Live in partnership with Basketball Australia. The Australia-Canada games will be held in Perth, with the Canada-New Zealand double-header taking place in Sydney.

The Fiba World Cup will take place in China from August 31 to September 15.
