The Fiji Football Association has agreed a deal with FBC TV for the national commercial broadcaster to show a weekly magazine programme produced by the sport’s governing body in the country.
According to the Fiji Times newspaper, FBC TV will show the ‘Fiji Foot’ programme every Friday for three years, from 2013 to 2015.
Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar said that his organisation had been provided with broadcast production equipment and staff training from football’s regional governing body, the Oceania Football Confederation.
FBC TV chief executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said: “I believe this agreement puts us in a good state and enhances our ability to broadcast more of the sport for the public.”
