The International Floorball Federation has become the latest global governing body to sign a content agreement with the International Olympic Committee’s recently-launched Olympic Channel.
The Olympic Channel will stream live coverage of at least 33 hours of the 2016 Men’s World Floorball Championships, including the final, to a global audience.
The 11th edition of the national team competition takes place from December 3-11 in Riga, Latvia.
Floorball is not officially classed as an Olympic sport, but is recognised by the IOC.
Last month, the International Cycling Union, the International Skating Union and the International Luge Federation, the World Baseball Softball Confederation, the World Karate Federation and the International Federation of Sport Climbing also agreed deals with the Olympic Channel.
The governing bodies of aquatics, archery, badminton, basketball, bobsleigh and skeleton, boxing, canoeing, curling, equestrian sports, fencing, golf, gymnastics, hockey, ice hockey, judo, modern pentathlon, rowing, rugby union, sailing, shooting, skiing, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, weightlifting and wrestling have also signed up to collaborate on content for the channel.
