US sports broadcaster Fox Sports has renewed its deal with the Automobile Racing Club of America for the rights to the Arca racing series in a multi-year agreement beginning in 2013.
Fox will continue to broadcast the series on its cable-television network Speed. Last year, Fox and Arca agreed a one-year deal to cover the 2012 season. Speed has covered the Arca series since 1997.
Scott Ackerson, Fox Sports Media Group executive vice president, executive producer, and Speed president said, “Arca has a very supportive group of race fans, and for over 15 years they have turned to us for their television coverage.”
