Fox Sports has acquired rights in Asia for the US Open tennis tournament.
The deal with the US Tennis Association, the operator of the tournament, will run for five years, from 2017 to 2021.
The agreement covers linear, OTT and digital platforms in Brunei, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Viewers will also be able to watch free short-form clips, news updates and highlights on the Fox Sports Play application and the foxsportsasia.com website.
Fox Sports already had rights for the other three grand slam tournaments.
