Public-service broadcaster France Télévisions has reached an agreement in principle to retain rights to rugby union’s Six Nations Championship.

The new agreement with Six Nations Rugby comprises exclusive rights to all matches at the men’s and women’s Six Nations tournaments from 2023 to 2025. In addition, the proposed deal would also afford France Télévisions exclusive rights to France’s 2022 Autumn Nations Series matches against Australia, South Africa and Japan.
