England’s 23-20 victory over France in rugby union’s Six Nations on Saturday was watched by a peak audience of 8.2 million viewers on French public-service broadcaster France 2.
In a tweet, the broadcaster revealed the average audience for the game was 6.4 million viewers, equivalent to a 34.9 per-cent audience share.
