The NBC Sports Group division of media company NBCUniversal has extended a deal between its Golf Channel platform and the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the US.
Golf Channel will continue to broadcast live coverage of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships until at least 2029.
Coverage of each tournament will include Monday’s final round of stroke play, crowning the individual national champions, as well as Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s eight-team match-play competition.
The agreement encompasses all media rights to both competitions worldwide.
Golf Channel has shown the men’s event since 2014 and added coverage of the women’s event in 2015.
