German satellite-television broadcaster HD Plus has struck a deal to show Eurosport’s coverage of the Bundesliga domestic top-tier football league.
The coverage, which will be available through the Eurosport HD Xtra channel, will cover 45 games during the 2017-18 season.
The deal was reached between Eurosport’s parent company in Germany, Discovery Networks Deutschland, and HD Plus, a subsidiary of Astra satellite operator SES.
All HD Plus subscribers will be able to receive the channel without additional charge until September 4 if they register on the HD Plus website. The Eurosport package wil then cost €5 ($5.90) per month, or €55 for 12 months.
