The International Cricket Council has launched a new mobile application that will seek to enhance the fan experience during its upcoming national team tournaments.
The app will feature high-definition videos, news, fixtures and results, and will offer coverage through 365 days of the year.
The app will act as an information source for fans during the ICC’s two major tournaments in 2017 – the Champions Trophy and the Women’s World Cup, which will both take place in England and Wales.
Fans will be able to follow matches through a live match centre that will provide short-form video highlights, video interviews and features, and ball-by-ball updates.
The Champions Trophy takes place from June 1-18, while the Women’s World Cup will be held from June 24 to July 23.
