The Infront Sports & Media agency has confirmed that Marco Bogarelli, president of its Italian division, and Giuseppe Ciocchetti, managing director of the regional subsidiary, are to leave the company.
Bogarelli (pictured) and Ciocchetti have agreed to mutual terminations of their contracts and will step down from their roles at Infront Italy today (Monday) in order to pursue “a new professional opportunity”.
In May, Bogarelli was named strategic director for Wanda Sports Holding, the Chinese entity that incorporates Infront Sports & Media, endurance brand Ironman and Wanda Sports China.
Luigi De Siervo, who was appointed chief executive of Infront Italy in June, will serve as managing director of Infront Italy and will oversee the re-alignment and optimisation of the subsidiary’s structure and processes.
Philippe Blatter, president and chief executive of Infront Sports & Media, said: “Marco Bogarelli and Giuseppe Ciocchetti have helped us tremendously to build and strengthen Infront’s foothold in the Italian sports market and have contributed significant know-how and expertise to Italian clients.
“At the same time, we are excitedly looking into the future. We are confident that also going forward we will continue to bring additional value to the Italian market, offering our partners competitive and innovative products and unparalleled service capacities.”
