JRFU readies NTT League One launch

The Japan Rugby Football Union is preparing to usher in a new, more professional era of Japanese rugby union with the launch of the NTT League One on January 7.

Plans to reform Japan’s domestic rugby structure were first mooted in the aftermath of the country’s hosting of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which created huge interest in the sport.
