GEE will distribute more than 10,000 hours of live and produced sports programming to commercial flights and ships through its global VSAT networks.

Lagardère Sports’ portfolio of rights spans 70 football clubs across Europe as well as the Asian Football Confederation and Confederation of African Football continental governing bodies.

Lagardère Sports also has rights to athletics, basketball, golf, rugby union and women’s tennis events.

David White, president media at Lagardère Sports, said: “Our agreement with GEE, one of the fastest growing providers of satellite telecasts to airline and cruise ship passengers, represents an important strategic step for Lagardère Sports to increase distribution of our content.”
