Le Sports HK picks up Euro 2016 rights

Le Sports HK, which is operated by Chinese internet company LeEco, has acquired non-exclusive rights in Hong Kong to the Uefa Euro 2016 national football team tournament.

According to Hong Kong newspaper the Standard, Le Sports will stream live coverage of all 51 games in the year’s competition via the Le Sports application, available on smart televisions and smartphones. Fans will be able to access the service for HK$249 (€29/$32).

Hong Kong residents can also pay HK$599 to install an LeTV box on traditional television sets.

Le Sports will broadcast games alongside pay-television service Now TV, which is operated by Hong Kong telecommunications company PCCW.
