The Learfield Sports agency has extended its multimedia rights partnership with the athletics division of Boise State University through the 2024-25 season.
Learfield Sports has been Boise State Athletics’ only multimedia rights holder and marketing partner in the school’s history, with the initial relationship commencing in July 2010.
The Idaho Statesman newspaper said the new agreement covers July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2025. The original contract ran for seven years before Boise State exercised its three one-year options in that agreement to extend it into 2020.
Boise State director of athletics Mark Coyle said the new deal will provide over $40m (€29.9m) in guaranteed revenue.
With Boise State, Learfield manages the individual multimedia rights for nine of the 12 Mountain West Conference member schools, and has sole oversight of the marketing and sponsorship initiatives for the conference itself.
Other Mountain West members in Learfield’s portfolio include Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, Utah State, San Jose State and Wyoming.
