Golf’s Asian Tour has signed a three-year agreement for IPTV platform LeTV to stream all its live and highlights content in China.
Under the deal, which runs until the end of 2016, LeTV.com will hold exclusive new media rights to Asian Tour content, adding to a golf portfolio that includes the European Tour, LPGA Tour, Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and Open Championship.
As part of the agreement, LeTV.com will show this week’s inaugural EurAsia Cup, a Ryder Cup-style matchplay event contested between Europe and Asia at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Malaysia.
