Matteo Mammi has been promoted to the role of director of sports, outside production and operations at Italian pay-television broadcaster Sky Italia, TV Sports Markets understands.
In his new role, Mammi will continue to have responsibility for the acquisition and sale of sports-media rights, sports channels and sports programming.
Mammi has been promoted after Riccardo Botta was appointed as the head of Sky Italia’s production and creative hub.
