Marca TV, the Spanish digital-terrestrial channel managed by the Mediapro agency, has acquired rights for all matches involving the Spain national team at the 2012 Fifa Futsal World Cup, which got underway today in Thailand.
Marca TV will show live coverage of Spain’s opening match of the tournament against Iran at 3pm tomorrow and will repeat the programme at 10.30pm on the same day. The channel will also show live coverage of Spain’s games against Panama on Monday and Morocco on Thursday, with both games kicking off at 3pm.
Pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport also has rights for the tournament in Spain under a deal with Fifa, football’s world governing body. Eurosport’s rights cover every game from the tournament.
