Spanish agency Mediapro is close to acquiring rights for top-tier Liga football clubs Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad, according to news website El Confidencial.
The deals would begin with the 2015-16 season.
The report said that Mediapro had tempted Atlético by bidding more than the €42m ($57m) being paid to the club currently by pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus, which used to be called Digital Plus.
The agency has also tabled an offer to Sociedad that is worth more than the club’s current €25.5m per year deal with Canal Plus.
Movistar TV, the IPTV platform of telecommunications company Telefónica, has also made offers for the two clubs’ rights, but they are reported to be worth less than Mediapro’s bids.
