Local broadcast crews around the league honored the occasion with broadcasters making mentions of the moment as they signed off while others had more fan-interactive festivities. DC United’s long-time play-by-play broadcaster Dave Johnson had a pitch-side pregame show where fans were able to speak with him in person after 27 years of calling games for the team.
