German-based pay-television broadcaster Motorvision TV acquired exclusive rights to US motor racing’s Nascar Sprint Cup series in German-speaking Europe.
The specialist motorsports channel will show live coverage of at least 11 races from the Sprint Cup, the top-tier series of Nascar racing. Highlights coverage of the remaining races will be shown each Monday.
The deal also includes internet rights.
The 2012 Nascar Sprint Cup series begins on February 26 with the Daytona 500, which Motorvision TV will broadcast live.
