The MP & Silva agency has acquired exclusive media rights in Vietnam for the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
The deal will run for two years, from 2013 to 2014, and includes a number of other events operated by Fifa, football’s global governing body.
Under the agreement with Fifa, the agency will be able to distribute rights in Vietnam to pay-television and free-to-air broadcasters. The rights to be offered by the agency include live coverage of all 64 matches during the 2014 tournament as well as daily 45-minute highlights programmes for the duration of the competition.
The 2013 Confederations Cup, Beach Soccer World Cup, U-20 World Cup and U-17 World Cup, plus the 2014 U-20 Women’s World Cup and the U-17 Women’s World Cup, are also included in the deal.
