The MP & Silva agency has acquired exclusive rights for a number of friendly matches between European top-tier football clubs during next month’s winter break across the continent.
The rights include French Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Spanish Liga club Real Madrid on January 2.
The other matches to feature are German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg’s double-header against Dutch Eredivisie team Vitesse Arnhem on January 7 and 8 and its game against Belgian Pro League team Anderlecht on January 10.
Also included are Bundesliga club Hamburg’s games versus Vitesse on January 10 and Ukrainian Premier League team Metalist Kharkiv on January 15, and Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas taking on the Bundesliga’s Augsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach on January 10 and 12, respectively.
“MP & Silva will soon announce more friendly matches for the summer of 2014,” the agency’s co-chief executive, Peter Hutton, said. “The summer package will feature European club friendlies and national team friendlies.”
